Entry to mid-career engineer role focusing on defining sensor electrical architectures and conducting assembly and testing of sensor systems.

Requirements:
Hardware and software experience for end-to-end system understanding. Sensor electrical architecture design knowledge. BS or Higher in Electrical Engineering

Preferred:
Experience with Integration of hardware and software systems. PCB layout, assembly and test Effective problem-solving skills.

Optical Engineer

Hands-on optical engineering role involving optical mounts, alignments, and verification testing.

Requirements:
Proficiency in designing optical mounts and integrating/alignment of optical assemblies. Experience with optical alignment error budgets and verification testing.

Preferred:
Strong analytical skills in optical systems. Detail-oriented with excellent hands-on assembly techniques.

Engineer role focused on developing embedded code for System On Chip modules and GUI interface applications.

Requirements:
Experience with embedded system development. Preferred experience with ARM processors. Experience in Windows-based GUI development.

Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical engineer will use CAD and analysis tools to conduct design of diverse and complex systems. Will conduct structural analyses to verify design complies with requirements. Will decompose high level system requirements to lower level requirements on individual components.

Requirements:
Demonstrated experience with system level design and analysis. Expertise in Solidworks tools

Preferred:
Actuator design and analysis. Aircraft design and analysis. Watercraft (surface and/or subsurface) design and analysis. Experience with opto-mechanical design.

Lab Support Technician (Hands-On / Build & Test)

Get your hands dirty. Sensitic is seeking a versatile, hands-on Lab Support Technician to support a wide range of build, assembly, and test activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with hardware and takes pride in getting things done—whatever it takes to move a project forward. You will work alongside engineers to support the development of advanced optical and sensor systems. Tasks will range from general shop work and facility support to precision mechanical assembly and operation of lab equipment. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electromechanical hardware Support test setup, execution, and teardown Operate shop tools and lab equipment safely and effectively Perform general lab organization, maintenance, and support tasks Assist engineers with prototyping, integration, and troubleshooting Required Qualifications Demonstrated hands-on experience building or assembling hardware Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools Strong awareness of safety practices and risk management Ability to follow instructions while working independently when needed Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative Preferred (Not Required) Experience in a lab, machine shop, or technical environment Familiarity with basic electronics or mechanical systems Experience with measurement equipment or test setups Additional Information No degree required Practical knowledge, skill, and experience are critical for success in this role If you’re someone who likes to build, fix, and figure things out—and wants exposure to a fast-paced technical environment—this is an opportunity to grow with a small, highly capable team.
